Overview
Helping the Home Front hosts an annual 8K Run/Walk, bringing together a wonderful community for a day filled with excitement and sunshine to fundraise for active-duty military and their families. This event kicks off with a Kid’s Fun Run, which sets the stage for an incredible 8K race! We hope to see you on the path!

7:30AM – Registration/Check-In Opens
8:00AM – Kids’ Fun Run
8:30AM – 8K Run/Walk
TBD – Awards ceremony & raffle prizes following race
Event Information
Registration and Entry Fee
- 8K Run/Walk: Pre-registration (by March 31, 2026) is $35. Registration after April 1, 2026 is $40.
- Race day registration & packet pick-up will begin at 7:30 A.M.
- A T-shirt is guaranteed for all pre-registered runners!
- Gift bags are included with registration on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. No entry fees will be refunded.
- Kids’ Fun Run is free for children 8 and under. Register on site, morning of the event.

- Male and female overall
- Male and female Age Groups
Refreshments on Race Day
- Bagels, fruit, and other foods and beverages will be provided to all runners.
Parking
- Is free and will be available at CBN and Regent University

Our goal is to raise $8,000 to support our active-duty service members and their families. While we encourage every racer to join in, participation in the fundraising effort is completely voluntary.

Bring It with You
If your sponsors give cash, simply bring it with you on race day. If they have written a check, make sure it is payable to “Helping the Home Front” - Prefer Online Giving?

Send your sponsors the Square payment link/QR code and ask them to include “your name” in the notes so we can accurately track your total. (Link coming soon) - We’ll Do the Counting
On race day, we’ll tally every racer’s sponsorship amount. - Aim for the Top 5
The highest fundraisers will win one of our exclusive Top 5 prizes. Stay tuned for reward details on social media at @HelpingTheHomeFront (Instagram/Facebook).
***$10 is the estimated minimum gift that can receive to have a good chance at the grand prizes.
