When Army veteran Josh got out of the service, he landed a good job in the trucking industry. Providing for his wife and 4 boys wasn’t a problem. Recently, his trucking company folded due to Covid. Josh suddenly found himself without a job. Finding employment in his small town in rural North Carolina was difficult. That’s when Helping the Home Front Stepped In. We are providing three months of mortgage to relieve financial stress while Josh looks for a new job.

His wife Rebecca says, “We can’t even express how much of a blessing this grant is! It will help us so very much, not only get ourselves caught up financially but also take so much stress off our shoulders! Being able to get groceries and our kids school supplies over the next three months is just such a blessing! Thank you so very much!”

Cru Military Leader Karen Dorner works closely with the family. She says, “we know this assistance will help them make it through the summer and be able to pay for other essentials for their family of 6. It is truly an answer to prayer. THANK YOU for helping this Veteran and his family find hope. This gift will take away some of the constant stress, and help the family get back on solid ground.”
